The three biggest flashfloods that hit Cagayan de Oro this month left so much pain for the affected city residents and warnings to city officials of their lack of responsibility to back up developments with environmental protection plans.

Three persons were already dead and close to 100,000 residents of the city were affected by the floods which left city officials facing a blank wall as to what really caused the sudden floods that hit the city.

The aftermath of the Cagayan de Oro flashfloods were seen below and this is a stern warning to city officials to take part and give priority to the people’s welfare instead of their selfish motives to think of the development first before anything else.
