Oro's assessment department collects P9.2-M

The City Assessment Department collected an amount of P9,210,313.28 representing as other income for the past seven months this year.

In his monthly Appraisal Report and Report of Other Income to City Mayor Constantino G. Jaraula covering the period January to July 2008, City Assessor Atinodoro A. Asequia disclosed that the bulk of the collection came from Other Income as of June 2008 which is pegged at P7,742,216.95.

Other collections generated during the period include P1,474,436.33 from transfer fee; P76,200.00 from certified true copy; P6,740.00 from certificate of real property holdings; P3,240.00 from certified true reproduction copy of documents and P580.00 from certification of tax declarations.

The Assessment Department also earned P5,900.00 from the issuance of certified photocopy of tax declaration, index of cadastral lot and owner record form and P1,000.00 from certified photo copy of tax map. ( CIO/VYG )
