Unabia, Emano file COCs for congressmen in Misamis Oriental

Misamis Oriental provincial board member Peter M. Unabia has formally filed his certificate of candidacy yesterday at the provincial comelec as congressional candidate in the first district of the province, alongside with incumbent congressman Yevgeny Vincente Emano who is seeking his re-election bid of the second district. The group their COC’s under the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino-Padayon Pilipino coalition.


The complete slate was headed by Mike Paderanga as the party’s gubernatorial candidate and Victorico Chaves, Jr. as his running mate. The rest of the members of the Padayon Pilipino Party have also filed their COC’s the other day.



For members in the first district: Rico Taray, Michelle Anayron, Melchor Cubillo, Geodeguil Ursal, Cancio Nicanor Guibone. The second district includes Nancy Madjos, Mercy Grace Acain, Heckert Hernando Jude Emano and Jesus Jardin.


Padayon founder and titular head Vicente Y. Emano has also include the name of Ago Almirante as one of those good candidates for provincial board members. Almirante is slated to file his COC tomorrow.


The party has complete roster of mayoralty candidates. They were Magsaysay, Santiago Ocot; Gingoog City, Marlon Khu; Medina, Sulpicio Uyguangco; Talisayan, Catherine Ifurung; Kinoguitan, Arsenio Noble; Sugbongcogon, Jerome Lagbas, Binuangan, Cresencio Ty; Salay, Ronnie Tan; Lagonglong, Manuel Pamisa, Jr; Balingasag, Baldomero Olano; Claveria, Paul Douglas Calingin; Jasaan, Redentor Jardin;Villanueva, Bienvenido Valcursa, Sr.; Tagoloan, Paulino Emano; Opol, Maximino Seno; El Salvador City, Pedrito Baculio; Alubijid Armando Elarmo; Laguindingan, Roy Macua; Gitagum, Tiburcio Ajonan; Libertad, Alberto Acain; Initao, Alen Acain; Naawan, Jaime Roa; Manticao, Efren Jabla; Lugait, Wellie Lim.


During a press conference, Peter Unabia said his focus will be on education, milk feeding, livelihood and agriculture.

“Kung buligan kita isip kongresista sa unang distrito atong hatagan sa dakong pagtagad ang agriculture,” Unabia said. He said if he will be elected he will allocate his 70 million pesos for pro-poor programs.


Bambi Emano on the other hand said he would like to continue serving the people as he has already started several projects.


“Manghinaut kita nga buligan ang bando sa Padayon Pilipino aron padayon ang pagtabang nato sa ubos nga hut-ong sa katilingban,
Emano said.
