More developments in City’s Socialized Housing Project seen

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Misamis Oriental, July 23 – More developments will take place in Sitio Calaanan of Barangay Canitoan, the city’s biggest resettlement site.
Acting upon the recommendation of Mayor Vicente Emano, the Sangguniang Panglungsod, during its regular session, is slated to approve the city’s application for Preliminary Approval and Locational Clearance and Development Permit of the Cagayan de Oro Resettlement and Socialized Housing Project I (CDORSHIP-I) Phase II.

Vice Mayor Caesar Ian Acenas, who presided over the SP session said Phase II of the CDORSHIP consists of 1,464 lots with an area of 33.038 hectares.

Phase I of the 60-hectare resettlement site has already been developed and occupied by families affected by city projects, demolition, and calamities.

The legislation was reviewed and favorably endorsed by the committees on

subdivision and on laws and rules chaired by SP Kagawad Jose Pepe Abbu and Ramon Tabor, respectively.
