Just this week, Starbucks, one of the internationally-recognized coffee shops, has announced hiring employees as it will soon open the Starbucks Cagayan de Oro Branch. Among the branches the company is planning to establish will be in other major cities in Visayas and Mindanao. The company’s branches in Metro Manila are reported to be soaring high in sales.

Starbucks has a total of 16,635 coffeshops in 49 countries. In the Philippines, it was the Rustan Coffee Corporation which has the license to operate Starbucks. Rustan Coffee Corporation, is a subsidiary of Rustan Group, and licensed by Starbucks USA to operate a chain of coffee shops under its own brand name.
It is known that the location of Starbucks Cagayan de Oro will be located at Limketkai Mall particularly at the area just across McDonalds.
